Design Thinking & Service Design Facilitation/Coaching

Design Thinking is more than a method, it's a way of thinking. It enables complex problem-solving through a holistic understanding of the problem at hand, uncovering the underlying, possibly interrelated factors that influence the solution and the root of a challenge. Through an iterative process, it enables the design of flexible, innovative and sustainable solutions that are thought through and consider the wider picture, not just a quick win.

Service design is an interdisciplinary process that aims to design services that meet the needs of the user (customer-centric), while at the same time designing them in such a way that they are effective and efficient for the provider on the back-end. This ensures that services are developed and designed in a way that is customer, market and strategic-specific, aligned and complete.

At the heart of this process is the customer; therefore, it observes and understands the customer's behaviour, expectations and requirements and uses that to inform the design.

Service Design involves several disciplines such as Design Management, psychology and sociology. A team of interdisciplinary people work together to develop an innovative solution. The process itself consists of several phases.
